Terms of service

DropTranslate translates documents using machine translation. The output is a best-effort translation: for Word, Excel and PowerPoint files the layout is kept; for PDFs the layout is reproduced as closely as possible and you also receive an editable Word copy.

Not a certified translation. DropTranslate does not produce certified, sworn or notarised translations, and no authority has approved its output. If you need a translation for an authority, check that authority’s own requirements first.

You are responsible for the files you upload. Do not upload content you do not have the right to translate, and do not upload confidential documents on the free tier. Uploads are deleted when a job finishes; translated files are kept for 7 days when you are signed in, or 24 hours without an account.

The service is provided “as is”. We may change limits, languages and formats as the product develops. Paid plans are not available yet.
